Do you work within our existing brand guidelines, or is this a rebranding exercise?
We work within what you have. Most design engagements here are execution work - ads, email templates, landing page assets, presentation graphics - produced inside your existing brand system, not a pitch to replace it. If the guidelines have genuine gaps that create inconsistency across channels, we'll flag them and propose the minimum extension needed - a missing ad-size treatment, a web-safe font fallback - rather than manufacturing a rebrand. Your brand equity took years to build; design execution shouldn't quietly erode it.
How do revisions work - are we buying rounds or outcomes?
Outcomes, scoped honestly. Every project starts with a brief that defines the deployment context and the objective, which is where most revision spirals are actually prevented - endless rounds usually mean the brief was never agreed. Standard scope includes structured revision passes with consolidated feedback, and we'll tell you when a requested change works against the asset's job, because a design team that just executes every note isn't adding judgment. Our last email template looked great in the design file and broke in Outlook. How do you prevent that?
By building for email's actual rendering environment instead of designing for the mockup. Email clients disagree about basic CSS - Outlook still renders with Word's engine - so templates are built with the constraints in from the start and tested across major clients including Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail before delivery, on both desktop and mobile. You receive a template that's been verified where your subscribers actually read, not a design that was only ever beautiful in Figma.
