SugarCRM

SugarCRM customization and administration aligned to your actual sales workflow, not a generic implementation that gets worked around.

SugarCRM implementations tend to drift furthest from their original design.

The platform's flexibility makes it easy to customize - and just as easy to accumulate customizations that conflict with each other, that no current team member understands, or that are silently breaking the pipeline logic the sales team relies on. Most Sugar environments we inherit have at least one critical workflow that's been disabled or worked around because it started producing incorrect behavior and nobody traced it to root cause.

Our Approach

We audit the existing SugarCRM configuration against the sales process it's meant to support - not against the generic setup guide.

That means reviewing module relationships, custom fields, workflow and process audit logic, and the integration behavior connecting Sugar to any upstream marketing or downstream billing system. Repairs address root causes: the misconfigured relationship that's causing records to route incorrectly, the custom field that's feeding a report that's been wrong for six months, the workflow that stopped firing after an upgrade.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our Sugar instance has years of customizations nobody on the current team understands. Is it salvageable?

Almost always - and salvage is cheaper than the migration a lot of teams assume is their only way out. The audit maps every customization against the sales process it was meant to support: which custom fields still feed something real, which workflows conflict with each other, and which modules were modified by someone three admins ago for reasons nobody recorded. Most instances have a core that works and a layer of accumulated debt that doesn't. We repair the core, decommission the debt, and document what remains so this doesn't happen again.

A workflow broke after a Sugar upgrade and we just disabled it. Can you fix that kind of thing?

Yes - and the disabled workflow is usually the visible tip of the problem. Upgrades change how process definitions, calculated fields, and logic hooks behave, and instances with heavy customization accumulate breakage that teams route around rather than repair. We trace what the workflow was originally supposed to do, why the upgrade broke it, and rebuild it against the current version's behavior. The alternative - a sales team quietly doing manually what the system was supposed to automate - costs more than the repair, it's just less visible.

Do you offer ongoing SugarCRM administration, or is this project-based?

Both models are available. Project engagements cover the audit, the repair work, and a documented handoff your team can operate from. Ongoing administration makes sense for organizations without a dedicated Sugar admin - we handle workflow changes, module configuration, integration monitoring, and the upgrade testing that catches breakage before it hits production. Many clients start with the audit and decide based on what it surfaces about how much ongoing attention their instance actually needs.
